Costs & Fees
The registration process consists of 2 steps - signing up with BSA and then joining Pack 143. The annual registration fee includes national BSA membership, insurance, and local Pack dues. For most families, the total sign-up cost is around $218 per Scout per year, which helps cover badges, awards, event supplies, and more. We also offer optional fundraising opportunities to help offset costs.

National BSA + Council Registration & Fees
The fees go directly to the National BSA and Greater Tampa Bay Area Council to support program development, resources, insurance, council camps and programs, leader trainings and youth programs.

Pack Registration & Fees
Pack fees help pay for the pack shirt, awards and supplies for the activities during the den meetings, and administrative expenses.
The pack fee for 2025-26 is $100 and can be paid via check, Venmo, or cash.3.
Additional Expenses & Fees
Fees for the Scouts uniform, camping expenses, and special events and outings.

At Pack 143, we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the fun, growth, and adventure of Scouting—no matter their family’s financial situation.
